About Natick Green
Natick Green Condominium is one of the largest condominium communities in Natick. The property was developed in 1981, when the area around the West Natick commuter rail station was undergoing significant residential growth.
The condominium was designed to provide relatively affordable homeownership close to major transportation routes, including Route 9, the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90), and the West Natick commuter rail station. This location makes it especially attractive to commuters working in Boston, Framingham, Waltham, and other MetroWest employment centers.
The development consists of 318 residential units spread across 21 residential buildings along Silver Hill Lane and Post Oak Lane.
The community is governed by the Natick Green Condominium Trust, which manages:
building maintenance
landscaping
common areas
recreational facilities
parking
reserve funding
Over more than four decades, many units have been renovated with updated kitchens, flooring, and HVAC systems. The resident population has evolved from predominantly first-time buyers to a mix of owners, renters, young professionals, downsizers, and investors. The community has benefited from nearby commercial growth, including the expansion of the Natick Mall area and improvements to commuter rail service.
As the buildings have aged, the association has undertaken major capital improvements, including:
replacement roofs
new vinyl siding
replacement windows and sliding doors
stair reconstruction
energy-efficiency upgrades
updated intercom system (Butterfly MX)
Natick Green remains one of the most sought-after condominium communities in MetroWest area. The Board of Trustees currently consists of 6 members who meet on a monthly basis to discuss operational business and resolve Association matters. Natick Green has been professionally managed by Barkan Management since July 2024 and continues to benefit from its experienced management and oversight.
